Foresight Technical Education Centre (F-TEC) under the aegis of Foresight Society for HRD a society registered under Societies Act of I860 is a premiere multi skill based network of vocational centers established with the objective of providing basic IT skill and skills in the emerging sectors like Retail/ BFSI. F-TEC set up its operations in the year 1995 and today boasts of more than 100 odd centers with presence in the Hindi heartland of Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, apart from having a major presence in Delhi / NCR. Majority of its centers are strategically located making it easily accessible to the target group. The network has trained more than 5 lacs youth over the 15 years of its existence with an annual average enrolment of 35000-40000 students in various training programs ranging between 3/6-12 months across locations, F-TEC continuously evolves its training programs as per market demand in order to cater to employability requirements across sectors.

F-TEC has been innovative in its approach in developing training programs for youth to ensure employment after the training and following a tradition of carrying out research & market studies after every two years for keeping pace with the changing trends of the market. F-TEC’s shift from computer education to multi-skills training came into existence after some of the important market studies which indicate huge opportunities of employment in new sectors along with IT & ITES. That is why, F-TEC has brought forward the programs with an integrated approach where perhaps for the first time in INDI, IT training shall be given along with sector specific skills in upcoming areas like Retail, Banking & Financial Services.

F-TEC now is offering some of the programs in Dual Certification Mode in the areas of Web-Development, IT training with Sector specific skills like Banking & Financial Services and Retail Management. These programs have duration of six months to one year and minimum eligibility would be Class XII and above.

Notably F-TEC has also launched two programs dedicated to the women folk catering to the areas of Office Management and Computer Teacher’s Training respectively. Office management program is having duration of six months and Computer Teacher Training program is designed for a duration of one year. Both these programs are offered under F-TEC’s dual certification programs in collaboration with KSOU (one of leading State level Universities of the Country in Open and Distance Learning) Mysore under an unique institutional and academic partnership arrangement.

The best part of current offering is that the IT programs are embedded with sector specific skills along with skills like typing, functional English and other such skills as per the need of the program and skill requirements in both Govt and the Industry. Some of the programs also have industry internship as an integral part of the training.
